Course Overview
Experienced instructors from ITI will teach you about the equipment used in rigging, how to know which equipment to use, how to use it and inspect it, how to calculate hitch capacities and protect your rigging equipment. You will learn how to work with cranes, what your responsibilities are to the crane operator, and how to use hand and voice signals and taglines. There is a lot to cover, but once you have finished you will be well on your way to a safe and satisfying job as a signalperson and basic rigger.
